Harvey Franklin Ellinger, 68, of 480 Horseshoe Road in Stanardsville, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014, in the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville.

Mr. Ellinger was born on June 20, 1946, in Staunton, a son of the late Harry Franklin and Rosa (Dunlap) Ellinger.

Mr. Ellinger was a veteran of the United States Air Force and most currently employed in manufacturing with Aker Wade. He also spent 20 years working for Neuman, USA as their IT manager. He enjoyed woodworking, electronics and was extremely talented with computers.

As a young man he also enjoyed bowling.

Mr. Ellinger is survived by his wife, Joann; two sons, Christopher Ellinger and wife Kathleen and Jeffrey Ellinger and wife Ashley; a brother, Jim Ellinger and wife Wanda; and a granddaughter, Lillian Ellinger.

A Memorial Service will be conducted 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 in the Waynesboro Church of Christ by Michael Jones.

The family will receive friends prior to the Memorial Service from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the church.
