Harry Clinton Huff, 77, husband of Daisy Mae (Smith) Huff, of 130 Red Oaks Drive passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Huff was born in Gettysburg, PA, a son of Edgar Stahl and Dorothy Blanche (Zercher) Huff.
Harry was a member of Community Christian Fellowship Church and retired as a Barber at Central Barber Shop. Prior to his employment at Central Barber Shop, Harry owned and operated Terry Court Barber Shop. Mr. Huff was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force, retiring after twenty years as a Technical Sergeant. He received the Vietnam Service Medal and the Air Force Medal. Harry was an active member of the VFW Post 2216 where he served as Post Commander and District Commander.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Huff was preceded in death by a brother, Edgar Charles Huff.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 36 years are three daughters, Anna Marie Weaver and Sylvia Ann Hucks and her husband Timothy, both of Myrtle Beach, SC and Rebecca Lynn Miller and her husband Daniel of Greenville; two sisters, Margaret Jean Peggy Houston of Gainesville, GA and twin sister, Mary Ann Mancini of Cranston, RI; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren survive.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times the residence.
A Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Frank Hall.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens with military honors provided by the VFW Post 2216.
Active pallbearers will be Mike Hall, John Hildebrand, Gene Painter, Lewis Reeder, Lloyd Painter and Tim Hunley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Guy Rawley, David Reeder and members of the VFW Post 2216 and the Past Ladies Auxiliary.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
