Harold Leon Miles, Sr.

Harold Leon Miles, Sr., 63, husband of Lorena (Taliaferro) Tinkerbell Miles of 40 East Gay Street, passed away Wednesday morning (April 22, 2009) at his residence.
Mr. Miles was born in Augusta County on September 23, 1945, a
son of the late Mildred (Monroe) Miles.
Mr. Miles was a U. S Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Miles was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie M. Wiseman and Wilma M. Miles and a grandson, Chris Robertson.
Surviving in addition to his wife to whom he was married September 2, 1978, are four sons and a daughter-in-law; Harold Leon, Miles, Jr. and his wife Susie, Scott Bradley Miles, Carl Claytor and Ronnie Moore all of Staunton; two daughters Bertie Sugar Robertson of Nashville, TN and Debra D.D. Eavers of Staunton; a brother and sister-in-law, William Douglas Miles and his wife Gina of Staunton; a sister Joyce Gail Butterworth of Staunton; five grandchildren, Brandy Robertson, Jeremy Eavers, Anna Eavers, Cassie Deaver and Jared Deaver; also surviving are nieces and nephew, Kathy Hoffman, Aaron Wiseman, Brandy Smith, Sherry Morris, Stephanie Wiseman, Ashley Stickley, Steven Stickley and Eric Stickley; a special son-in-law, Clyde Robertson; and very special friends, Doc and Peggy Flint, Moe Dedrick and Kenneth Bright.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (April 25, 2009) in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. David Anderson. Burial will be private.
It is suggested those desiring may visit with the family at the residence at any time.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive is in charge of his arrangements.
