Harold Nathaniel Nathan Bennett, 49, of 229 Montgomery Road, Staunton, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Bennett was born October 16, 1963 in Staunton, a son of Harold G. Bobby Bennett and the late Edith Marie (Gordon) Bennett.
Mr. Bennett was a self-employed landscaper, and had worked for American Movers and Rocco. He enjoyed oil painting, fishing, and collecting antiques.
In addition to his father, Nathan is survived by two brothers, Jeff D. Bennett and fiance Mary A. Lam of Waynesboro and Michael A. Bennett and fiance Sandy Michaels of Staunton; a sister, Kathy B. Curry and her husband Trey of Staunton; two uncles, Kendall Bennett and Buck Gordon; an aunt, Mary Fitzgerald; five nephews, Kenneth Bennett, Travis Bennett, Randy Bennett, Quade Curry and Mikey Bennett; and his pet dog Sparky and a number of cousins also survive.
All services will be private.
