Hal Ignatius Meyers, 83, of Staunton, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Brightview Baldwin Park in Staunton.

Mr. Meyers was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on April 1, 1939, the son of the late Harold Irving Meyers and Evelyn Anne (Blanchard) Meyers.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Meyers was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline Sagrin of Fork Union, Virginia.

Surviving, are two sons, Harold Meyers of New Hartford, New York and Peter Meyers of Pittsville, Virginia; five grandchildren and special friends, Marina Phillips and Susan Griffin.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Father Panagiotis Hanley of the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Charlottesville.

Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery.
