Gregory Laberon Polk's Obituary
Gregory Laberon Polk, 52, husband of Sara Carrizales, of 2709 Hanover Street, passed away, Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Polk was born on March 18, 1966 in Midland, Texas, a son of Pauline Ruby (Porter) Shelton and the late James Ray Polk, Sr.
Gregory was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed fishing and drinking beer. He was a protective and loving husband, father, and grandfather and watched over those around him.
In addition to his father, Mr. Polk was preceded in death by two brothers.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother, is a beloved nephew, Brandon Brasuel; a son, Santos Carrizales; two daughters, Megan Carrizales and her fianc Marquis Veney and Tara Carrizales and her fianc Anthony Higgins; two grandchildren, Carson Higgins and Brieanna Veney; a sister, Paula Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at the residence, 2709 Hanover Street, Staunton.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.
