Grace Mae (Rose) Moultrie, 77, widow of Richard Moultrie of Frontier Ridge Court passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 in Augusta Nursing and Rehab in Fishersville.

Mrs. Moultrie was born on November 28, 1939 in Nelson County, Virginia, a daughter of the late John and Mildred (Wheeler) Rose.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Surviving is a son, Kevin C. Thomas of Connecticut; two daughters, Katherine E. (Thomas) Phillips of Connecticut and Cynthia Ann Thomas of Minnesota; a brother, John C. Rose and his wife, Ann of Waynesboro; a sister, Margaret E. Jackson and husband, Leslie of Charlottesville; five grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with Mrs. Moultries wishes, there will no public services.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive is in charge of her arrangements.
