Gordon Stinson Jennings, Jr., 88, husband of Nancy Lee (Cash) Jennings, of Staunton passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Jennings was born in Scottsville, Virginia on March 11, 1932, a son of the late Gordon Stinson Jennings, Sr. and Virginia Mary (Bragg) Jennings.
Gordon was an active member of Memorial Baptist Church where he served on the deacon board, was past Sunday school superintendent, and served on other various committees. He retired as owner and operator of Jennings Floor Finishing, and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Gordon was an avid collector of stamps and enjoyed fishing.
He was the last survivor of his immediate family.
In addition to his wife of sixty-three years, he is survived by two daughters, Diane (Jennings) Quinn and her husband, Stephen of Charlottesville and Leigh Ann (Jennings) Lissard and her husband, Scott of Lafayette, Louisiana; three grandchildren Hannah Quinn, Holly Donaldson and her husband, Matt and Gordon Lissard; and one great-grandson, Finnley Donaldson.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A graveside service will be conducted 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in Augusta Memorial Park by Reverend Temple D. Myers.
