Glenn A. Felix
BRIDGEWATER:

Glenn Allen Felix, 84, of Bridgewater, VA, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at the home of his daughter, Jan Lovell.
He was born on December 24, 1925 in Johnstown, PA, and was the son of the late Lloyd and Ethel Felix. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Ruth Elinor (Armentrout) Felix.
He is survived by his children, Cyndi Sampson of Denver, CO, Jan Lovell and her husband Ed of Staunton, VA, Lyle Felix and his wife Judy of Titusville, NJ, Kevin Felix and his wife Charity of Robbinsville, NJ and Lord Grayson. There are ten grandchildren, Joshua Lovell, Seth and wife Brittany Lovell, and Eli and wife Katy Lovell, Jim and Christine Felix, Jessica and husband John Stewart, and Justin Shaddow. There is one great-grandchild, Steven Glenn Stewart. Glenn is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Rogers of Fairfax, VA and Ruth Felix of Johnstown, PA.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Lantz Memorial Chapel at the Bridgewater Retirement Village at 4:00 PM on Friday July 30, 2010.
Glenn was known for his pen and ink drawings which many have hanging in their homes, his love of gardening, and his ability to tell and hear a good joke. He loved his family and was happiest in their company. Prior to retirement, Glenn worked as the Director of Student Activities at Trenton State College in Trenton, NJ.
More recently he was an active member of the Bridgewater Church of the Brethren, and gave his time and his drawings to a number of charities in the Bridgewater area.
He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
