Gladys Marie (Whitesell) Buchanan, 79, widow of Robert Tuffy Buchanan of Hull Street went to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Buchanan was born on December 14, 1935 in Stuarts Draft, a daughter of the late Allen and Helen Marie Whitesell.
Gladys attended First Church of the Nazarene, she enjoyed Christmas decorating, seek and find puzzles, yard work and her flower gardens.
Surviving is a son, Donald W. Donnie Lawhorne and a sister, Peggy Jean Whitesell both of Staunton.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2015 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David Bailey.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Wayne Puffenbarger, Danny Pritchett, Derek Buchanan, Randy Mawyer, Wayne Mawyer and Ralph Mawyer.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
