Gerard Michael Corella, 89, husband of Evelyn Jane (Baitz) Corella of Donaghe Street passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mr. Corella was born on March 10, 1927 in Astoria, New York.

Gerard was a veteran of the United States Army and was the owner/ operator of J.E.M. Plumbing and Heating.

Surviving in addition to his wife of sixty-seven years, is a son, Michael G. Corella and his wife Kim of Staunton; and two grandsons, Michael A. Corella and Mark M. Corella.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2016 in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia, Virginia.
