Gerald Howard Nicholson, 71, passed away on August 3, 2023 in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Mr. Nicholson was born in Staunton, Virginia on April 6, 1952.

Gerald served his country in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl V. Darcus and step-father, Ward Lee Darcus, a daughter, Rhonda and two brothers, Michael and Stephen Nicholson.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Andrea; a daughter, Phyllis Nicholson; two step-children, Andre and Anthony Frederick; brothers, Dennis, Joseph, William and Byron; sisters, Deborah, Cindy, Diane, Lori and Patricia and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Cliffdale Community Church, 7763 Cliffdale Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28314.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 400 Murchison Road, Spring Lake, North Carolina 28390.
