Gerald Wayne Michael, 72, of Staunton, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Michael was born in Staunton, Virginia on January 16, 1948, a son of the late Weldon Wright and Betty Ann Catherine (Driver) Michael.
Gerald worked for Fitzgerald Lumber and Log Company as a truck driver. He enjoyed dancing on the weekends, going on cruises, taking long rides, hunting, and attending dirt track races and truck pulls. Gerald will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are three brothers, Larry W. Michael and his wife, Vicky, Claude R. Michael, and Weldon T. Michael and his wife, Mary; five sisters, Sharon M. Armstrong and her husband, Lee, Nedra D. Michael, Dana K. Meredith and her husband, Jon; Tina D. Michael, and Tammy M. Hogle and her husband, Michael; a number of nieces and nephews; and his special furry friends, "George and "Midnight".
There will be no public services.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, Virginia is in charge of his arrangements.
