Georgette Betty "Peaches" (Grimes) Postma, 53, wife of Timothy B. "Tim" Postma, of Miller Street, Staunton, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mrs. Postma was born on April 4, 1970 in Staunton, a daughter of the late George S. E. and Betty Ann (Crawford) Grimes.

Mrs. Postma was employed by the Stonewall Jackson Motel and was a member of the Salvation Army.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Postma was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel Vest, Sr., and a grandson Brayln Davis-Vest.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Justin Vest of Churchville, Daniel Vest, Jr. of Harrisonburg, and Tyler Parrish of Staunton; four daughters, Jasmine (Vest) Helper of Staunton, Taylor Moran of Waynesboro, Abigail Postma, Brittany Postma, and Cassandra Postma of Pennsylvania; one brother, Kristopher McDowell of Dumfries, Virginia; two sisters, Annie Jones and Irene Grimes of Staunton; fifteen grandchildren; and close friend Tina Woolridge of Staunton.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 12, 2023 at the Salvation Army, 1702 West Beverley Street, Staunton.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
