George J. Sicheri

George Joseph Sicheri, 47, husband of Marilyn S. Sicheri, of 291 Waldrop Road, Swoope passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 in the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Mr. Sicheri was born on March 19, 1961 in DuBois, Pennsylvania, a son of Joseph V. Sicheri and Karen E. (Nelson) Sicheri.
George enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was a member of the River Ridge Hunt Club in Williamsville and a graduate of Brockway Area High School in PA. He was employed as a meat cutter at the Craigsville IGA.
In addition to his father of Brockway, Pa., his mother of Crimora, Va. and his wife to whom he married on August 2, 1980, survivors include a son, Jesse W. Sicheri and a daughter, Allison Y. Sicheri, both at home; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael A. and wife Renee Sicheri of Charlotte Hall, Md., two sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna J. and husband Brian Miller and their daughter Mikala of Falls Creek, Pa. and Michele S. and husband Richard Shaffer of Brockway, Pa.; maternal Grandfather, Merlin Bricen and wife Margaret of Brockport, Pa. and nieces and nephews, Tracey Pisarcik and her daughter Madison, Lara Clouser and her son Thatcher, Vince and Justin Sicheri and Corena and Cassidy Shaffer.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday, (March 14, 2009) in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Todd Yoder of Jerusalem Chapel United Brethren Church.
The family will have a private burial in Pennsylvania.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home or at his residence at other times.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
