Geneva Josephine (Williams) Beverly Eaves, 79, wife of Jack Eaves of 8705 Highway, 61 North 236, Walls, Mississippi passed away Monday, March 23, 2009 in the Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto in Southaven, Mississippi.
Mrs. Eaves was born on February 16, 1930, in Rienzi, Mississippi a daughter of the late Olan and Willie Myrtle (Riddle) Williams.
Geneva was retired as a security guard with Bell Telephone Company.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Eaves was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur M. Beverly, Sr. ,a son, Paul Harvey Beverly, a sister Mrs. Mae Sisk and a brother Mr. Russell Williams.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Walls, Mississippi are three sons and a daughter-in-law, Arthur Matthew Beverly, Jr. of Altamonte Springs, Fla., David Russell Beverly and his companion Jane Freeman of Auburndale, Fla. and Stephen Wayne Beverly and his wife Mattie of Kissimmee, Fla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn M. Steele and her husband Robert Bob of Stuarts Draft and Shirley Jean Harris Willetts and her husband Dale of Williamsburg; one sister, Ann Cook of Verona; a special niece Betty Ann Tracey and her daughter, Sherri; seven grandchildren Jeff Harris, Bo, Chasity, Christopher, Jennifer, Tracey and Steven Beverly; six great-grandchildren, Wesley and Nate Harris, Lexi Beverly, Shea Beverly, Luke Beverly and Chase Beverly and four great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009 in the Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by Pastor Frank S. Hall.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton.
