GARY W. SIZER

STAUNTON:

Gary Wayne Sizer, 58, of 315 East Lee Highway, New Market and formerly of Englewood Manor Apts. in Staunton, passed away Monday, February 23, 2009 in the Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Sizer was born in Staunton on October 8, 1950 a son of the late Paul W. and Ruth (White) Sizer.
He was a Crossing Guard for the city of Staunton, a former EMT with the Craigsville / Augusta Springs Rescue Squad and a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church.
Gary is survived by a son, Mark W. Sizer of Harrisonburg; a daughter, Tami Lynn Sizer-McChesney of Modesto, Calf.; his former spouse and friend, Rebecca Sizer of Broadway; two half brothers, James Agee of Bedford and Clifton Owen of TX.; and a special aunt, Mrs. Mildred Siever of Singers Glenn.
A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (February 26, 2009) in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Robert R. von Oeyen.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Burial will be private in the Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive is in charge of his arrangements.
