Fredrick L. Sarey
VERONA:
Fredrick Lee Fred Sarey, 63, husband of Joyce Marie (Edmond) Sarey of 8 West Gate Road passed away Monday, May 30, 2011 in the University Medical Center in Charlottesville.
Mr. Sarey was born July 4, 1947 in San Francisco, CA, a son of the late Pierre Carvel and Ruie Elsie (Coffin) Sarey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a twin brother, David Lee Sarey and a sister, Dorothy Clayton.
Fred was employed as a truck driver with Waste Management in Sacramento, CA. He served as an usher at the Church of Nazarene in Oroville, CA., he loved woodworking and refurbishing furniture, he was very patriotic and loved his family.
In addition to wife of 45 years, Mr. Sarey is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Pierre Carvel Sarey, II and his wife Erika of Arlington, Washington; a daughter, Judy Lee Sarey and her fianc Shawn of Oroville, CA.; seven grandchildren, Rayne Patrick and her fiance Charles Patrick, Ruie Spain, Richard Spain, Josh Sarey and his fiance Shelby Karr, Zach Sarey, Gabe Sarey and Breanna Sarey; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in Heavens Golden Gate Church by Rev. Golden C. Clark, Jr.
The family will receive friends at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday before the service.
