Frederick Joseph "Joey" Heath, Jr., 54, husband of Carla Marie (Roadcap) Heath of 11 Ardmore Street, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Heath was born on November 7, 1964 in Richmond, Virginia, a son of Frederick Joseph Heath, Sr. and the late Joyce Lee (Smiley) Manley.

Joey was a member of Linden Heights Baptist Church. He enjoyed building model airplanes and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife of thirty years, and his father of North Carolina, are two sons, Steven Mahon and his wife Autumn of Charlottesville and Branden Heath of Verona; two daughters, Amanda Stratton and her husband Charles of Harrisonburg and Christa Heath of Bridgewater; seven grandchildren, Haley, Makayla, Brayden, Oliver, Elijah, Camden, and Leya; two brothers, Edward Heath of Tennessee and Shannon Heath of Greenville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration Gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June, 7, 2019 in the Grottoes Mountain View Park, Shelter #2, 1100 20th Street, Grottoes, Virginia.
