Fred H. Heintzleman
STAUNTON:
Fred Howard Rabbit Heintzleman, Jr., 62, husband of Mary Heintzleman of 19 Kittery Point, Staunton passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Heintzleman was born in Staunton on September 2, 1949, a son of the late Fred Howard Heintzleman, Sr. and Beulah Lorraine (Buchanan) Heintzleman.
Mr. Heintzleman was disabled for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, liked to fish, hunt, mushroom hunting and an avid NASCAR fan.
In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Colvin.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Melinda Curry and her husband Timmy of Stuarts Draft; a sister, Frances W. Brooks and her fianc Barry Siple of Stuarts Draft; three grandchildren, Morgan Diehl, Hunter Curry and Brian Curry; a special niece, Debbie Via and her husband Ricky of Stuarts Draft; three nephews, Mark Brooks and his wife Lori, Keith Brooks and his friend Betty and Junior Colvin and his wife Nancy.
A memorial service will be conducted 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Darrell Via.
The family will receive friends following the service.
As per Mr. Heintzlemans request he was cremated.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
