Frances Warren (Lessley) Gough, 76, of Waynesboro, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Ms. Gough was born in Staunton, Virginia on June 8, 1946, a daughter of the late Frank Warren Lessley and Hazel Blanche (Hall) Lessley.

Frances was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Staunton and enjoyed working as a hostess at Rowe's Family Restaurant. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and going to the beach.

Ms. Gough was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Overstreet.

Surviving, is a son, Gary W. Gough his wife, Elizabeth "Beth" of Staunton; two grandchildren, Adam Gough and Alex Gough; and special friends, Arlene Nicely and John Prillaman.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends following the service.
