Frances Harris Brosig's Obituary
Frances Harris Brosig, age 95, formally of Waynesboro, passed away Friday December 9, 2011 in Florida.
She was born July 18, 1916 to the late Benjamin and Susan (Thompson) Harris in Nelson County.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Martin Brosig, her sisters Nannie Fuqua and Virginia Wood and her brother Nelson Harris. Also preceding her in death were her aunt and uncle who raised her, Emma and George Ellis.
She is survived by her daughter Nan Brosig Fogle and her husband Mark, her grandson Mark Alan Fogle, all of Clermont, FL and her granddaughter Katie Elizabeth Fogle of Staunton, VA. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A memorial service will be held 7pm Monday, December 19, 2011 at Coffman Funeral Home, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton. Burial will follow the next day in Oakwood Cemetery, 3101 Nine Mile Road, Richmond.
