Flora Belle Humphries's Obituary
Flora Belle Flo (Cash) Humphries, 81, widow of David Tom Humphries, Sr., passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Shenandoah Nursing Home in Fishersville.
Mrs. Humphries was born on June 25, 1931 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Marcus L. and Lillian (Shoemaker) Cash.
Flo was a lifelong member of Vesuvius Baptist Church and attended ClearView Church. She was retired from GE/Genicom where she had worked assembling relays.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Humphries was preceded in death by six brothers.
Survivors include a son, David Tom Humphries, Jr. and his wife Gina of Waynesboro with whom she made her home; a grandson, Dale Humphries and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Augusta Memorial Park by Pastor John Hamric.
Their will be no public viewing or visitation.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to ClearView Church Building Fund, Post Office Box 1171, Fishersville VA 22939.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
