Everett Sherwood Pitsenbarger's Obituary
Everett Sherwood Pitsenbarger, 80, of East Gate Drive, Verona, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Pitsenbarger was born in Highland County, Virginia on December 9, 1940, a son of the late Lester C. and Mary Alice (Moyers) Pitsenbarger.
Mr. Pitsenbarger was a veteran of the United States Army and he retired in 1993 from DuPont with thirty-one years of service.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Pitsenbarger was preceded in death by three brothers, Herbert Pitsenbarger, Paul Pitsenbarger, and Berlie Pitsenbarger; three sisters, Martha (Pitsenbarger) Caparell, Erma (Pitsenbarger) Butterfuss, and Mary (Pitsenbarger) Fitzgerald.
Everett was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Surviving is a son, Michael S. Pitsenbarger and wife Christina of Stuarts Draft; a daughter, Natalie Ostrander of Staunton; a granddaughter, Kaylee Pitsenbarger; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a Memorial service will be held at a later date.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, Virginia is in charge of his arrangements.
