Eunice Maxine (Bryant) Wagner, 96, of Staunton, peacefully went to be with our Lord surrounded by her family on Monday, February 15, 2021 at her home of seventy-five years.
She was born on August 25, 1924 in Craigsville, Virginia, a daughter of the late Thomas James Bryant, Sr. and Zora F. (Dean) Bryant Trayer.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wagner was preceded in death by five brothers, H.C. Bryant, Hubert H. Bryant, Thomas J. Bryant, Edgar W. Bryant, and Billy L. Trayer; and a sister, Thelma C. Berry.
Mrs. Wagner was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Eunice was a loving mom, grandma, and sister. She had a very tender and nurturing nature. Throughout her life, she cared for the elderly, loved and cared for many children by babysitting, and helped raise her nieces and nephews. Those visiting the home always felt welcome and the warmth of her loving family. She was an excellent cook and had a wonderful sense of humor which she carried with her until the end.
Surviving are her twin daughters, Penny J. Morgans and her husband Kenny of Mt. Solon and Nancy K. Reynolds and her husband Steven of Staunton; a grandson, Carl D. Bradley; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Those desiring may pay their respects from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2021 at Thornrose Cemetery.
