Eugene Mcclellan Engle's Obituary

Eugene McClellan Engle, 82, widower of Leola Marie (Landrine) Engle of 141 Lori Lane, Churchville, went to heaven to join his wife on Saturday evening, (April 3, 2010) at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Engle was born in Walkersville, Maryland on June 3, 1927 a son of the late John L. and Eva C. (Eaves) Engle.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Engle was preceded in death by his wife on July 7, 2009.
Mr. Engle was a Veteran of the United States Marines, serving his country during WWII and was retired from the United States Government working in the Department of Defense as an Army Armament Research \u0026 Development Project Engineer at Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, New Jersey.
Family members include a daughter and son-in-law, Donna Lee (Engle) Hart and her husband, Ben of Churchville; a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne Eugene Engle and his wife, Marilyn of State College, PA; three grandsons, Jebb McClellan Hart, Cody Lee Hart and Casey Wayne Engle; and his loving pet dog Cubby.
Services for Mr. Engle were private and conducted in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Churchville Rescue Squad, the staff of Augusta Health and to the HOPE Center for the care given Mr. Engle.
At the request of the family, there will be no receiving of friends at the residence.
