Ethyl Louise Grandma (Rhoads) Miller, 93, widow of David Albert Miller of 120 Locust Street, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the home of her caregiver.
Mrs. Miller was born September 26, 1921 in Sunbury, PA, a daughter of the late Franklin and Flora (Derr) Rhoads.
Mrs. Miller was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and was last employed as the churchs custodian. She enjoyed playing the piano, crocheting, storytelling and helping anyone who needed help.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by three sons, Dennis J. Miller, Guy Jeffrey Miller, and David Franklin Miller; and a sister, Doris Irene Stover.
Mrs. Miller was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great, great grandson.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times her residence.
A Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in Faith Lutheran Church, 17 North Lewis Street, Staunton by Pastor Rod Ronneberg.
Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Chris Palmieri, Bradley Bright, Donta Robinson, Aaron Snyder, David Miller, and Daniel Miller.
