Ethel Marie "Peggy" (Miley) Jordan, 83, wife of John Bernard Jordan, Sr. of Staunton, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Jordan was born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania on October 17, 1939 a daughter of the late John Daniel Timmons and Laura Virginia "Polly" (Deal) Timmons.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Luff.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of 64 years, is a son, John Bernard Jordan, Jr. and his wife Elise of Maryland; two daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" (Jordan) Glover of Staunton and Brenda (Jordan) Cook and her husband Rick of Churchville; a sister, Rosemary Gruwell and her husband Owain of North Carolina; a brother, Warren Timmons and his wife Donna of Delaware; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Luke B. Smith and Pastor Todd Yoder. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
