Esta Magdalene (Kincaid) Siron, 84, wife of John Henry Siron of Staunton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Siron was born February 8, 1928 in Highland County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Willie and Stella (Caricofe) Kincaid.
Esta was a homemaker whose heart was full of love to all those who came into her life. She loved to garden, make pickles and wine cakes. She was an active member of Faith Point Christian Center.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Siron was preceded in death by four brothers, Joe, George, Russell and Paul Kincaid and her sister, Ethel Mae Kincaid.
In addition to her husband of sixty-five years, survivors include a son, Eddie Siron and Willa Good of Staunton; two daughters, Susan S. Linkous and her husband Bobby of North Chesterfield, Virginia and Sharon S. Alphin and her husband Jimmy of Staunton; a brother, Glenn Bunny Kincaid of Middlebrook; three grandchildren, Chris Linkous, Jeffrey Linkous and April Corbin and her husband Billy; two great-grand daughters, Jessica N. Corbin and Ricky Dimitt and Allison M. Corbin; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Estas life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Faith Point Christian Center in Waynesboro by Pastor Randall Black.
Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory as well as the residence.
Active pallbearers will be Harold Clifton, Tommy Desper, Tommy Lowe, Roger Kincaid, Mike Kincaid, Craig Smith and Carl Vandevander.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to Faith Point Christian Center, 1900 Park Road, Waynesboro, Virginia 22980 or Mint Spring United Methodist Church, 53 Mint Spring Circle, Staunton, Virginia 24401.
The family would like to give special thanks to all those at Augusta Health for their loving kindness and care that was shown to Mrs. Siron.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
