Elsie M. Nelson
STAUNTON:
Elsie Marie (Jackson) Nelson, 76, widow of Murle Nelson, formally of Clifton Forge, Virginia passed away Friday, November 5, 2010 in Envoy of Staunton.
Mrs. Nelson was born December 23, 1933 in Goshen, Virginia a daughter of the late Houston Leonard and Eva Ermine (Ross) Jackson.
Elsie enjoyed painting, ceramics and quilting.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild.
Surviving are four sons, Alvin M. Nelson of Clifton Forge, Dalvin L. Nelson and his wife Son of Richmond, Charles T. Nelson and Larry H. Nelson and his wife Rebecca both of Mechanicsville; a daughter, Diane Mulvin of Clifton Forge; a sister, Lorraine Abrams of Leesburg, FL; ten grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.
A private burial will be conducted in Signal Hill Memorial
Gardens in Hanover, Virginia.
