Edward Ross Stone, 58, of Staunton, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mr. Stone was born in Arlington, Virginia on April 23, 1966, the son of the late Beverly Ann (Ross) Stone and Michael Etienne Stone.

Edward was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and was a passionate fan of both the Washington Redskins and the Washington Capitals. He had a deep love for Elvis's music, often enjoying his timeless tunes.

Surviving, is a sister, Patricia A. Michael and her husband, Todd of Staunton; two uncles, Hugh Alexander Ross, Jr. of CT and Kenneth Harvey Ross and his wife, Georgieanne of NJ; two nephews, Kenneth Michael and Brian Michael (Destiny); a great-nephew, Liam; a great-niece, Oaklynn; and many cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jonathan Bauer.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Michael, Brian Michael, Hugh Ross, Kenneth Ross, Scott Ross, and Ross Povenmire.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
