Edward Blake Decker, 52, husband of Jane (Oliver) Decker of Waynesboro passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Decker was born on April 3, 1961 in Staunton, a son of Fred G. and Twila (Hott) Decker.
Mr. Decker was a member of St. Johns Reformed UCC. He was employed with Rexnord Corporation in Quality Control.
In addition to his wife and parents, survivors include three brothers, Scott Decker and his wife Linda of Waynesboro, Timothy Decker and his wife Penny of Middlebrook and Neil Decker of Staunton; a sister-in-law Deborah Patterson and her husband Tim of Stuarts Draft; two brothers-in-law, Charles Oliver and his wife Kim and Darryl Oliver and his wife Lori all of Staunton; a special friend, Tommy Corbett of New Hope and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
A private graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Luke Smith.
There will be no public viewing or visitation.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to the SPCA, 33 Archery Lane, Staunton, VA 24401 or a charity of your choice.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
