Edna Gloria (Eavey) Stinnett, 74, widow of Jack Haydon Stinnett, Jr. of Stuarts Draft, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Stinnett was born in Waynesboro, Virginia on September 23, 1947, a daughter of the late Calvin and Bertha Eavey.

Edna retired with forty-three years of service from Augusta Health as Assistant Director of Laundry Services.  She enjoyed apple picking, baking and liked the adventure of jet skiing at Smith Mountain Lake and traveling to Pigeon Forge. In her later years, Edna enjoyed working word searches and watching westerns on television, especially Gunsmoke and Bonanza.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Stinnett and a son-in-law, Mikee Roadcap.

Surviving is a son, Eddie Stinnett; two daughters, Sheila Roadcap (Joshua Clements), and Jackie Estes (Kelly); four grandchildren, Brianna Stinnett, Derek Stinnett, Dillon Stinnett, and Jack Roadcap and a brother, Joe Eavey (Sonya).

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Augusta Memorial Park by Lt. Rachel Pruitt.
