Obituary

Edith Hope (Jones) Farrow, 88, wife of William Kenneth "Ken" Farrow, of 2388 Lee Jackson Hwy passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at her residence.

Hope was born on April 9, 1929 in Galax, a daughter of the late John Lemual and Mary Frances (Frost) Jones.

Hope was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church, retired as a hairdresser in Lexington and was a wonderful homemaker. She loved her family and always enjoyed telling stories about them and their everyday lives. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 63 years is a son, Kenneth Douglas "Doug" Farrow and his wife Patsy of Staunton; a brother, Clayton Jones of Galax; two grandchildren, Brandon Farrow and his wife Jessica and Scott Farrow; a great-grandson, Karson; and a step great-granddaughter, Hunter.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the home of Hope's son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Patsy, 2362 Lee Jackson Hwy, Staunton, and also following the graveside service on Monday.

A Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2018 in the Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Pastor Don McClure.

For those desiring to make memorial contributions, the family suggests the Parkinson Disease Association, 4560 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462 or to a charity of one's choice.
