On Thursday, December 29, 2016, our beloved Edward Nakia Nique Gray, 42, departed this life at the Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Gray was born on December 3, 1974 in Waynesboro, Virginia, a son of John E. Young and Austin (Robinson) Gray.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jasmine Gray.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Staunton are two daughters, Legacy S. Gray of Ashburn and Nakaila A. Gray of Broadway; a brother, Darrelle D Robinson and his wife Tina of Georgia; a special friend, Stephanie Carter and her daughter, Lilly Ann of Covington; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the Sentra Hospice, 2000 Beery Road, Harrisonburg, Virginia 22801.
A Memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Bishop Ronald O. Baker and Rev. Dr. Michael A. Turner, Sr.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
