Douglas Dale Doug Clemmer, 66, husband of Ailen C. Clemmer of 910 Maple Street, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Clemmer was born on December 16, 1950 in Staunton, a son of the late Homer Rudolph and Francis Elizabeth (Wagner) Clemmer.
Doug was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He was retired from Western State Hospital where he was employed as a Health Care Specialist and was the co-owner of The Record Corner. Doug enjoyed a variety of all types of music, the outdoors, baseball, biking and spending time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is a son, Charles Clemmer; a daughter, Cathy Clemmer; and a brother, Richard Clemmer.
The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Memorial service will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 26, 2016 in the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church by Father Joe Wamala.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
