Dottie May (Buckland) Roberson, 60, wife of Jeffrey Donald Roberson, of Stuarts Draft, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at her residence.
Dottie was born in Okinawa, Japan on July 9, 1966, a daughter of the late George Lewis Buckland, Sr. and Mary Ellen (Bright) Buckland Frye.
For the past seven years, she was employed by The Hershey Company as a Wrapper Operator, where she took pride in her work and the friendships she made. Outside of work, she enjoyed riding her Harley-Davidson trike and was affectionately known by many as "Motorcycle Momma" She loved spending time in the kitchen cooking for those she cared about and adored her beloved fur babies, who brought her endless joy. With a kind heart and outgoing personality, she truly never met a stranger and had a remarkable way of making everyone feel like a friend.
In addition to her parents, Dottie was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Marie Haddock; a brother, George L. Buckland, Jr.; and father-in-law, Donnie Roberson.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 27 years, is her step-son, Codie Roberson and his daughter, Winter, her beloved granddaughter; three sisters, Ginny Turner of Verona, Donna Campbell of Stuarts Draft, and her twin, Jodi Brelsford of Summerville, SC; four brothers, Harry S. Buckland (Alice) of Staunton, Donnie R. Buckland (Denise) of Staunton, Roger Frye (Peggy) of Mt. Crawford, and Rex Frye (Kodi) of Staunton; her in-laws, including her mother-in-law, Linda Roberson of Grottoes, Tammy Lawhorne (Danny) of Crimora, James Roberson (Rachel McDaniel) of Grottoes, Bobby Turner of Greenville, Glen Haddock of Staunton, Beth Buckland of Fogelsville, PA, and Tommy Campbell of Nelson County; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
