Dorothy Lee (Snead) Warren, 80, of Lyndhurst, widow of Paul Warren, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Warren was born on July 21, 1935 in Rockbridge County, Virginia a daughter of the late Jack and Ethel Snead.
Dorothy was retired after 28 years of service at Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center as a Nurses Aid. She was a caring, loving woman who loved her family and put everyone before herself. She was full of life and lived her life by the bible and her faith. She enjoyed reading, loved her pets and was an avid UVA sport fan.
In addition to her parents and husband of 38 years, Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by two sons, Paul Michael Warren and Jeffrey Thomas Warren; and a son-in-law, William D. Hinkle.
Surviving are two daughters, Debbie Hinkle of Buffalo Gap, Cynthia Payne and her husband Daniel of Lyndhurst; four grandchildren, Summer Kincaid, Wesley Warren and his wife Amanda, Matthew Warren and Ashlee Payne; five great-grandchildren, Taryn, Cavan, Peyton, Ayden and Karman also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Augusta Memorial Park by Rev. Olivia Haney.
Active pallbearers will be Matthew Warren, Wesley Warren, D.J. Payne, Dan Payne, Donald Skip Jordan, Roger Snead and Todd Hinkle.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
