Dorothy Cora Brooks, 75, of 287 Mill Creek Lane passed away, Friday, June 29, 2012 in Avante in Waynesboro.
Ms. Brooks was born in Augusta County on May 1, 1937, a daughter of the late James Robert and Christine (Goines) Brooks.
Ms. Brooks was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, a homemaker and wonderful Mother who provided for her family.
Surviving are four sons, Andy A. Brooks and James H. Brooks of Stuarts Draft, Robert L. Brooks of Waynesboro and Bruce Hoge of Stuarts Draft; Christine L. Brooks of Waynesboro; a sister, Alice McCauley of Stuarts Draft; thirteen grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Ms. Brookss funeral services will be private.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
