Doris M. Fretwell

STUARTS DRAFT:

Doris Jean (Martin) Fretwell, 65, wife of Leonard M. Fretwell, of 7 Old Cider Mill Lane, went to be with her Lord, Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Fretwell was born on December 28, 1947, in Waynesboro, a daughter of the late George Franklin, Jr. and Gladys (Claytor) Martin.
Doris was a homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, caring for children, her family and her cats.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene F. Martin.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 48 years, is a son Shannon Lane Fretwell of Stuarts Draft; a sister Cheryl A. Martin and her fianc Hank Vaught of Stuarts Draft; two grandchildren Dakota Fretwell and Sierra Fretwell; and two nieces Amber Vaught and Haley Vaught
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2013, in Rankin United Methodist Church Cemetery, Stuarts Draft, by Pastor Charles E. Carroll.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 -8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
