Doris J. Clatterbaugh

Doris Jean Clatterbaugh, 70, of 401 Prospect Street, Staunton, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Ms. Clatterbaugh was born August 23, 1940 in Staunton, a daughter of the late Chester Gilmer Clatterbaugh and Anna Mae (Rawley) Clatterbaugh.
Prior to her retirement in 2006 Doris was employed by Kroger Food Store in Staunton for eleven years and the Woolworths Department Store for thirty-three years. She attended Calvary Baptist Church, she enjoyed gospel concerts, eating out and shopping. Doris was a great cook and loved baking for her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by a half-brother, Dennis Clatterbaugh.
Surviving is her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy C. Colvin and her husband Ray of Staunton; two half-brothers and a sister-in-law, Richard A. Clatterbaugh of Fishersville and James E. Clatterbaugh and his wife Marian of Abingdon, MD; a step-brother, Ken Cason and his wife Marie of Verona; three step-sisters, Peggy C. Tutwiler and her husband Gene and Betty C. Wymer, both of Staunton and Linda C. Johnson of Fredericksburg; a niece, Cathy C. Conner and her husband Tony of Stuarts Draft and a nephew, Jeffrey A. Colvin of Atlantic Beach, NC also survive.
A Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in Thornrose Cemetery by Pastor Bobby A. Campbell.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2010 in the Coffman Funeral Home \u0026 Crematory.
