Donna (McManaway) Vandevander, 82, wife of Jerry L. Vandevander, of Mount Solon, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at her residence.

Mrs. Vandevander was born on November 26, 1943, a daughter of the late Ernest Peyton McManaway and Viola Evangeline (Michael) McManaway.

Donna was a member of Crosslink Community Church in Rockingham County and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 62 years is a daughter, Jackie Heflin and her husband Tony; two grandchildren, Cherish Heflin, and Justin Heflin and his wife Hannah; and five great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.

It is suggested those desiring may make memorial contributions to Crosslink Community Church, 4904 S. Valley Pike, Harrisonburg, Virginia 22801.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
