Obituary

Donna Lew Palmer went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Her beloved husband of 67 years, Roger Dale Palmer, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her three children, Nancy Tremble and Dan Palmer of Pawleys Island, South Carolina and Pete Palmer (Rebecca) of Staunton, Virginia. Her Granddaughter, Martha Hart (Calvin) and Great-grandchildren, Alexandra Osborne (Nathan), Joshua and Makenzie Hart and her most precious gift,Great Great Grandson, Carson William Dale Osborne, all of Dallas, Georgia.

Donna was a wonderful wife and mother, an accomplished musician, an Honors Graduate of Mary Baldwin College, and taught the Word for many years, leading Bible Studies almost everywhere she lived. She and her husband traveled extensively all over the world both as part of their military life and as part of their desire to experience new and different cultures. Both had grown up in the farm country of Nebraska and always called that home until they settled in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Most recently she lived in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.

A Memorial Service will also be held in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, in her home church, Pawleys Island Community Church Chapel on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:30 a.m.
