Donna Patricia Chisley, 47, of Staunton passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Ms. Chisley was born April 30, 1964 in Prince Georges County, Maryland, a daughter of Diane D. Chisley of Phoenix, AZ and the late James Wesley Ross.

Ms. Chisley graduated from C.B. Robinson Elementary School in Bowie, Maryland, attended Parkdale High School in Greenbelt, Maryland and later received her CNA license in Charlottesville, VA. Donna had a calm spirit and nurturing nature. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, she was a fan of Bluegrass and Country music, hiking, she liked to spend quiet time working crossword puzzles and reading her Bible. Donna especially enjoyed her walks in Gypsy Hill Park and camping with her fianc Charlie and she loved spending time with her niece, Toya.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Marie Dodson.

Surviving in addition to her Mother are two sons, Maurice Nathaniel Chisley of Texas and Darnell Chisley of Staunton; two brothers, James Wesley Chisley and his wife Sheila of Staunton and Don Nathaniel Chisley of Maryland; two sisters, Helen Delores Bell of Phoenix, AZ and Vivian Theresa Chisley of Maryland; a grandson and a number of nieces and nephews; and a devoted fianc, Charlie King.

A Memorial service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2011 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Beverley Robertson.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory at 230 Frontier Drive is in charge of her arrangements.
