Donald Roy Grogg, 63, husband of Wanda Ann (Campbell) Grogg, of 16 Partridge Court passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Grogg was born on November 6, 1952 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Wilmer Donald and Jessie Thelma (Harper) Grogg.
Donald was a member of ClearView Church. He retired in 2011 from Blue Ridge Lumber as a loader operator, enjoyed mowing grass, walking and spending time with his grandbabies.
In addition to his parents Mr. Grogg is preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley G. Colvin, Elsie G. Coffman and Linda G. Campbell.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 40 years are two daughters, Tammy D. Liptrap and her husband Dean of Stuarts Draft and Kathy L. Grogg and her special friend Jessica Carter of Fishersville; a brother, Danny William Grogg of Verona; four sisters, Sarah Ruth Grogg of Goshen, Willie Mae Hayes and her husband Donald of Craigsville, Margie G. Pannell and her husband William of Afton and Martha G. Pannell of Verona; three grandchildren, Savannah Grogg, Austin Liptrap and Gracie Liptrap also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.
A Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor John Hamric.
Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be, Dean Liptrap, William Pannell, Jr., E.G. Pannell, Michael Campbell, Timmy Campbell, Savannah Grogg, Chad Wester, Jason Carter and D.J. Whitlock.
