Donald Wayne Donnie Lawhorne, 60, of 511 Hull Street, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 in the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
Mr. Lawhorne was born on June 17, 1956 in Waynesboro, Virginia, a son
of the late Robert Tuffy and Gladys Marie (Whitesell) Buchanan.
Donnie was employed as a detailer at Elliott Dodge. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed assembling model cars, taking his 71 Chevy pick-up to shows, riding scooters, going to Monster truck shows and spending time with his dog, Myra.
Surviving is his fiance, Bobbie Jo Phillips of Staunton; an aunt, Peggy Whitesell; a cousin, David Whitesell; and a special friend, Jimi Ash.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Pastor David Bailey.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
