Donald William Bottenfield, 61, of Staunton passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at his residence.

Donald was born in Augusta County, Virginia on June 9, 1960, a son of Donald Thomas and Jewel (Curry) Bottenfield.

Mr. Bottenfield loved working with cattle, farming and was previously employed by Rockingham Livestock Sales, Inc. Donald's weekend hobbies included fishing, coon-hunting, and riding around the valley on his scooter.

He is survived by his children, Jamie Bottenfield, Tammy Gregory and her husband, Daniel, Angie Back and her husband, Andy, and Candy Bibb and her husband, Kevin; two brothers, Danny and Chris Bottenfield; three sisters, Linda Bottenfield, Faye Hall, and Nancy Melady; the mother of his children, Teresa Smith; ten grandchildren, Charlie Forbes, Kimberly Bibb, Johnathan Bibb, Tyler Bibb, Annabella Bibb, Jewel Gregory, Mary Gregory, Felicia Back, Ashley Back, and Kevin Howdyshell.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
