Dinah Elaine Reynolds Ordewald, 52, of 130 Bellview Street, Staunton, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010, at University of Virginia Hospital from complications following a heart attack.
She was born September 17, 1957, in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Guy E. and Jackie Phillips Reynolds.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Greg Reynolds.
Surviving her are her husband of 27 years, Christian D. Ordewald, and one son, David C. Ordewald, both of Staunton; two brothers, Grant Reynolds, his wife, Suzie, and children Kyle, Scott and Caila of Sutter Creek, California; and Gavin Reynolds, his wife, Maryann, and children Steven, Philip and Shannon of Culpeper, Virginia; one sister, Kathy Reynolds of Vienna, Virginia; a niece, Michaela Ordewald, of Churchville; a nephew, Daniel Mantioni, of Staunton, and a special friend, Granny Mary Hanger of Staunton.
Dinah was one of Jehovah\u0027s Witnesses for over 35 years, and was employed by Community Bank in Staunton. For a number of years she was co-owner of a well-known local catering company, Tea For Two.
She enjoyed cooking and gardening, and was known for her kindness and grace. She was a beloved friend to many and will be deeply missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Best Western Waynesboro Inn \u0026 Suites Conference Center, 109 Apple Tree Lane, Waynesboro, VA. Light refreshments will be served.
