Dicky Lee Whetzel, 47, of Virginia Beach, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 in the Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Whetzel was born on August 4, 1971 in Virginia, a son of the late Bobby Lonnie and Nellie Ann (Jackson) Whetzel.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Harris.
Surviving is a sister, Cynthia VanFossen and her husband Allan of Staunton; three brothers, Benjamin Ferguson and his wife Kelly, Dwayne Harris and his wife Tina, and Curtis Harris and his wife Pam; a sister-in-law, Maxine Harris; mom and dad, Glenn and Grace Harris, who raised him from age 6; and a number of nieces and nephews survive.
A Graveside Service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 in Thornrose Cemetery by Mr. Tim Rawely.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
