Dennis Wayne McCray, 60, of Shutterlee Mill Road passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at his residence.

Dennis was born in Staunton, Virginia, on January 15, 1961, a son of the late Lyle Janet and Helen (Gabbert) McCray.

Dennis attended Pleasant View Evangelical Lutheran Church and most recently worked for Rockingham Livestock, Inc. He enjoyed playing softball, basketball, fishing, and going to the movies.

Surviving in addition to his brother, Steven W. McCray of Verona, are two nieces, Carla McCray of Stuarts Draft and Kelly Blackwell of Staunton; a number of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021 in the Pleasant View Cemetery by Pastor Larry Closter.
